Synopsis

Behind the glitz and glamour of high fashion and super models is the dog-eat-dog world of designers and companies striving for dominance in a competitive and cut throat industry.

The House of Dominique has won the prestigious Premier's Cup for many years and their latest victory has brought the "family" company The House of Rowena Livingstone, to its knees. Matters are made worse by the defection of head designer, and later, the house model, to Dominique. With the arrival of an efficiency consultant, the very future of The House of Rowena Livingstone looks grim, especially as the unscrupulous operatives at Dominique plot to put them out of business for ever.

With the appointment of the loopy young designers Chloe and Poppie, Rowena Livingstone is putting its very existence on the line. Can it win the Premier's Award and re-establish itself among the elite? Can the company even survive economic rationalism?

Strong story line and great characters make Catwalk a show worth waiting for. And the opportunity for flashy settings and glitzy costumes make Catwalk a visual feast.

Catwalk is the latest show from the pens of John Mawson and Rob Smith and features the music of the exciting new songwriter Dean Moore, whose twelve songs are a highlight of the show.
