Synopsis

A dying town, with the sole claim to fame of being the scene of a major bank robbery, at last seems to be finding its feet with the announcement of it being the location for a major motion picture. As the film crew settle into the town it becomes clear that there is much more to events than meet the eye, and old secrets will be exhumed. People are not who they seem and twist upon twist help uncover a mystery the town wished would not return to haunt it.

A Town on the Map features many great characters including the Lister Sisters (Faith, Hope, Charity and Beatrice), their grandmother the Magistrate, Young Barry, Poohbar, the Mayor, film star Dunstin Dunmore, the Busker and his daughter, plus many more characters with significant and important roles. Great chorus groups include townspeople, abattoir workers and shearers.

A Town on the Map is easy to stage and the music will have your audiences in stiches as they clap along. So book the play now and help put your town on the map.
