The Big Race New!

Who's performed this show?

Port Fairy Theatre Society VIC

Laurence, much to his long suffering wife's despair, has not just a preoccupation with racing but an obsession with winning "The Big Race." After many years of unsuccessful attempts, he conspires with his trainer to dope one of his runners. But all is not what it seems to the audience. This play is particularly suitable for a population area where a novelty animal race is conducted. For example, the play was performed in Port Fairy where the annual "Dachshund Dash" is held. Other examples would be the Kyneton Ferret races or the yabby races at Windorah.
